Pound Sterling – The United Kingdom is one of the world’s oldest democracies has arguably the most respected legal system in the world and is generally considered by investors to be one of the safest places to invest. The capital, London is one of the world’s three key financial centers and dominates trading in some markets. So, the last thing you would expect to hear is analysts comparing the British pound to the Nigerian naira, Azerbaijani manat or Malawian kwacha. But after the Brexit vote, this is exactly what is happening. The value of the British pound against the US dollar has dropped by more than 20% since June 24 making it the ninth worst performing currency of the year....
