Baxalta A New Hedge Fund Favorite, FB, GOOGL In Top Spots

Baxalta - Goldman Sachs' VIP list of hedge funds' most favorite stocks is not doing well. The VIP basket of stocks tracks 50 stock holdings which hedge funds most frequently have in their top ten positions. Unsurprisingly, this VIP basket is not doing well and has lagged the S&P 500 by 738 bps as it slipped 6% YTD against a rise of 1% on the S&P 500, says the quarterly edition of GS' Hedge Fund Trend Monitor. In the first quarter alone, the VIP basket trailed by 589 bps.
