In its April letter, Horseman Global Fund Ltd notes that the overwhelming theme of the market for the past 18 months or so has been that of a strong dollar, though the trend has changed now and the USD is no longer a strong currency. Russell Clark, Investment Manager at Horseman, believes it is possible for the U.S. dollar to be weak and the U.S. equity bull markets to continue, though this would probably lead to depression and crisis in Europe and Japan.
Horseman Global Fund dropped 4.29% net in April 2016
Clark expressed surprise at the fund losing 4.29% last month, as even though most of the indicators pointed to the short squeeze being largely over at the end of March, it continued into April.
