Leading hedge fund performance is an energy related strategy, somewhat of a theme.

As market environments have changed, so too has the performance skew of various hedge fund strategies. When it was once the overwhelming leader among hedge fund performance, managed futures CTA strategy strategies, which at one point dominated the top 20 performance leaders, now only have a handful of such noncorrelated strategies on the list of top performers, a pattern in part first anticipated on March 11. What has replaced them and why did this happen?
