Another of China’s shining stars of capitalism, the billionaire founder of Metersbonwe, one of the nation’s best known fashion brands, has gone missing, believed to be yet another victim of a Chinese “investigation” into fraud and corruption. Trading in Metersbonwe shares was suspended on the Shenzhen stock exchange as Chinese media reports swirled that Zhou Chengjian, the 65th most wealthy man in the nation, with nearly a $4 billion net worth, was taken into police custody.
